A new consumer event, iGaming Festival, will come to Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre in early 2028. It will be targeted at those interested in gambling, industry stakeholders and service providers, and will offer a new forum where players and companies can meet.
iGaming Festival will run alongside the MP Motorcycle Show at the centre, 4-6 February 2028 and will be produced by Finnish Gaming Experts.
Titti Myhrberg, the event’s producer and CEO of Finnish Gaming Experts, said the event concept has been developed in close co-operation with industry stakeholders.
“There has not previously been a similar forum where players and companies in the industry can meet face to face, but there is clearly demand for one. After decades of a monopoly-based gambling market, Finland is entering a new era, and we believe there is a genuine need for an event that brings together players, operators and industry experts in one place,” said Myhrberg.
The show planning is taking into account the gambling legislation and official guidance in force at the time of the event.
“We are delighted that iGaming Festival will be held at Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre. It is great to be involved in creating a new event for the gambling industry,” said Satu Papadopoulos, business manager at Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre.
The planning of the event also takes responsible gambling into account. The event will feature a dedicated stage with programme content focusing on themes related to responsible gambling.
iGaming Festival will feature an awards gala on 3 February 2028. The gala is planned to take place at Solar, Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre’s next-generation event space opening in August 2027. Once completed, Solar will be one of the most modern event venues in the Nordics.
The event will be open to the general public on 4–6 February 2028. A ticket to the MP Motorcycle Show is included with admission. The event is restricted to visitors aged 18 and over.
The MP Motorcycle Show is the largest motorcycle event in the Nordics, attracting more than 50,000 visitors annually to Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre.
