The Festival of Aviation & Corporate Travel Summits (FACTS), Australia’s largest annual gathering of corporate travel, business events, aviation, travel payments and travel technology professionals, has announced a new strategic partnership with PCMA (Professional Convention Management Association). The link up will bring the PCMA’s global events industry expertise and community perspectives to FACTS 2026 at ICC Sydney this November.

PCMA will curate a dedicated education session within FACTS’ Business Events Summit, drawing on global experts from within the PCMA APAC community.

The session, titled ‘Beyond the Event: Turning Moments into Momentum’, will take place at 11.30am on Day 2 of FACTS (26 November) and is designed to deliver practical and relevant education for business events professionals from a panel of leading business event strategists and event marketing experts.

Following the panel session, PCMA will host its signature PCMA LABS – SYDNEY luncheon and workshop at ICC Sydney. This peer-to-peer discussion will share regional case studies and insights from leading industry creatives, strategists and event marketers as the group explores the subject ‘Measuring Impact: Beyond Attendance to Real World Outcomes’.

Florence Chua, PCMA’s managing director, APAC said: “We’re pleased to partner with FACTS and contribute to a programme that brings the business events and corporate travel communities together in Sydney.

“Education and meaningful industry connection are central to PCMA, and this collaboration with FACTS gives us the opportunity to bring the perspectives and expertise of the global PCMA community to Sydney while creating further opportunities for business events professionals to learn, connect and exchange ideas.”

FACTS co-founder Derek Sadubin said: “PCMA has an outstanding reputation for education, professional development and bringing together the global business events community, so we’re delighted to welcome them as a Strategic Partner of FACTS.

“Our aim with the FACTS Business Events Summit is to bring genuinely useful ideas and perspectives to the people who plan, procure and deliver meetings and events. Having PCMA curate part of the programme gives us access to another important global community of expertise and ensures the conversation at FACTS extends well beyond traditional corporate travel.”

Sadubin added that the partnership reflected the broader vision behind FACTS.

“Travel, meetings and events increasingly sit within the same ecosystem, but the industry can still operate in separate lanes. FACTS is deliberately creating a place where those communities come together, to learn from each other and meet the organisations shaping their future.

“PCMA is an excellent fit for that vision and we’re looking forward to building the relationship beyond this first collaboration.”
