Creative Technology (CT) and live creative communications agency Line Up have won a multi-year deal delivering technical and production services for the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The event, which talks place from 27 February to 2 March at the Fira Barcelona Gran Via convention centre, will see the two companies providing a range of bespoke services as well as core AV services. Line Up will creative concepts, pre-production and onsite management support to organiser GSMA, while CT will concentrate on the technical elements of the event. Eulalia Ripoll Giralt, head of events – Europe for GSMA, commented: “Mobile World Congress is viewed as the industry’s must-attend annual event, providing a platform for delegates to discuss and debate the key issues shaping the future of mobile. “We look forward to working with Line Up and Creative Technology to deliver an outstanding experience to our attendees.” Rob Leach, MD of Line Up, added: “Delegates at Mobile World Congress are highly sophisticated, and the challenge for the GSMA is to connect with and inspire them every year.
