Global resource for official destination organisations, convention and visitors bureaus (CVBs) and tourism boards, Destination International has announced that Gail Mutnik has joined the organisation as its Director of Meetings. This is a new position with Destinations International and Mutnik will take up the position on 19 March. “We are thrilled to welcome Gail to the Destinations International team,” said Don Welsh, President and CEO of Destinations International. “She brings more than 30 years of association experience and we look forward to her expertise and leadership on our team.” Through her consulting company, Mutnik has worked with association volunteer committees specifically on the development and content of large annual meetings. Prior to consulting, Mutnik worked for the American Association for Clinical Chemistry and American College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. “I am honoured and thrilled to be joining such a prestigious organisation,” said Mutnik. “I look forward to contributing to the growth of the meetings and events department and for Destinations International members worldwide.” Mutnik has served on a variety of PCMA committees and chaired the Medical Meetings Advisory Group.
