DWTC Hospitality wins 51 medals at Emirates Salon Culinaire 2025

Culinary excellence shines bright. DWTC Hospitality claimed 51 medals at Emirates International Salon Culinaire 2025. The team also secured Best Effort by an Individual Establishment for the third year running. Their haul included 16 gold, 21 silver and 14 bronze medals.

Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) Hospitality won 51 medals at the Emirates International Salon Culinaire 2025, held during ExpoCulinaire in Sharjah, UAE. The division also retained the “Best Effort by an Individual Establishment – International” award for the third consecutive year. The results include 16 golds, 21 silvers and 14 bronze medals across a range of culinary disciplines.

“This remarkable achievement reflects our commitment to innovation and talent development,” said Mahir Julfar, EVP at DWTC. “We take immense pride in nurturing homegrown talent,” he continued. “This success … strengthens Dubai’s position as a global culinary destination.”

The annual competition, organised by the Emirates Culinary Guild and endorsed by Worldchefs, drew over 930 chef entries in 2025. Categories ranged from Emirati cuisine and cake decorating to static displays and practical cookery.

An international panel of judges from the World Association of Chefs Societies scored entries across 39 categories.
