ECM signs content marketing agreement with CrowdRiff

European Cities Marketing, the association for tourist boards, convention bureaux, and city marketing organisations in Europe, has signed an agreement with visual content marketing platform, CrowdRiff.

CrowdRiff’s software allows DMOs to source and acquire rights to visuals and the ECM believes the platform can improve its ability to provide its members with more education and feedback from key industry players on opportunities to be more productive with effective solutions.

ECM also believes post-Covid, user-generated content and visual storytelling will have become essential tools for rebuilding trust with travellers both domestically and internationally.

For CrowdRiff, the closer partnership with ECM means strengthening its commitment to the European tourism industry and will see it expand its footprint through regular contributions to ECM conferences and ‘Power of Community’ communication series throughout 2021.

Dan Holowack, CEO of CrowdRiff, said: “Destinations are preparing now for the return of travel, with a focus on sustainability and harmony with local resident life. We are committed to providing European destinations with the tools and education to stay top of mind with travellers through authentic visual stories.”

In welcoming the new partnership, ECM President, Petra Stušek, declared: “It is important that ECM continues to develop relevant industry partnerships that will help our members in their challenging every-day work life. We are glad to gain CrowdRiff overview and expertise which will be key to rebuild a sustainable visitor economy, help optimising destination media strategies and drive quality visitation in their markets.”
