Audience interaction specialists Slido has said its Q&A and polling platform was used at more than 125,000 events in 2018. The figure signifies a doubling of the number of events where Slido was used compared to the previous year.
Events using Slido were held in 136 countries in 2018, the company says.
Other statistics released for Slido include the number of active users topping 7.6m in 2018, with over 11.5m poll votes and more than 3.5m questions asked using Slido.

In October 2018, Slido was also recognised by the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Central Europe programme as the fourth fastest growing technology company in Central Europe and the fastest growing technology company in Slovakia.
Major international conferences that have adopted Slido have included SXSW, Web Summit and Money20/20 and high-profile clients include Spotify, Lufthansa, BBC and Oracle.
