Australia-based travel management company, FCM is set to host its inaugural Th!nk hybrid event, 10-11 May 2022, that aims to provide an alternative forum for tackling topics in corporate travel.
FCM looks to position the event as an antidote to the typical industry conference, applying a different lens to topics through debate and interactive discussion.
To accommodate for different time zones, live components will anchor the event and will be broadcast over a period of 24 hours.
Marcus Eklund, global managing director for FCM Global, stated: “It’s time to adjust the dialogue to what’s resonating with our customers, the buyer community and industry colleagues, and collectively address the big issues now with a nod to the future. Th!nk will be compulsory attendance for anyone involved in the business of travel wherever they are.”
FCM has assembled a line-up of business leaders, innovators, and disruptors from inside and outside the industry to address themes such as the role of tech in travel innovation and understanding what the Metaverse means for the industry.
Melissa Elf, general manager of FCM Australia, added: “Although this is a truly one-of-a-kind global event, it will have real significance to the Australian market, and we will have our own region-specific content. Attendees will have a fantastic chance to interact with key topics across the globe.”
FCM’s Consulting arm will aim to unpack insights and data garnered from the company’s global operations, while industry body Global Business Travel Association will share its latest research findings through a series of sessions.
