Brisbane-based FCM Travel, the corporate travel business of the Flight Centre Travel Group, has announced the promotion of Renos Rologas to general manager for Australia and New Zealand (ANZ). This strategic appointment coincides with FCM’s 20th anniversary. FCM global COO Melissa Elf said: “Renos has been with FCM for over ten years, playing a pivotal role in our growth and success… His dedication and expertise have ensured that FCM remains at the forefront of the corporate travel sector, responsive to our customers’ needs. I’m certain Renos’s profound understanding of our business and customers will lead FCM into a thriving new era. I’m incredibly grateful for the relationships we’ve built and the milestones we’ve achieved together. As I shift my focus to the global FCM business, I’m confident Renos will lead our ANZ team with passion and excellence.” Rologas said: “Corporate travel remains critical for businesses to survive and thrive. We’re predicting a strong year ahead, with decreasing airfares, improving competition, and continued investment in productive operations and technology. As the industry recovers, we’re optimistic about growth and opportunities as economic confidence returns, and with meetings, events, and conferences remaining a business priority.”
