Managing director of research and advisory consulting firm, PACE Dimensions, Tim Davis (pictured), will moderate HospitalityInside’s 2021 Think Tank this September for the fourth consecutive year since its inception. Taking place 13-14 September, with the theme of ‘Sustainability and Digitalisation: The Change Drivers’, the HospitalityInside Think Tank 2021 edition will host a wide range of speaker and panel sessions. Industry experts joining Davis for the prestigious event include Alex Duckworth, principal consultant at AECOM Sustainable Development Group, and Floor Bleeker, chief technology officer of Accor. Tim Davis said: “It’s an honour to be invited back to moderate HospitalityInside’s Think Tank. The themes of digitalisation and sustainability are topics that bear huge relevance for businesses seeking to future-proof themselves from further turbulent times. I am privileged to lead the discussion with industry colleagues whose expertise and experience will be invaluable for all travel and hospitality professionals.” The Think Tank event will debate and evaluate the phenomenon of the rapidly spreading digitalisation that has occurred over the course of the last 18 months, as well as the increased premium placed on sustainability by consumers. Sessions moderated by Davis will explore how these issues have risen so quickly to the top of the industry’s agenda, and what the implications are for businesses themselves. Sessions will include discussions such as how customer behaviour is driving and shaping the sustainability agenda, and, how design and construction are evolving to create more sustainable hotels. As well as the live event taking place in Munich, returning after a digital-only event in 2020, the HospitalityInside Think Tank will also stream live online to a worldwide audience.
