International brand experience company Freeman has promoted Michelle Johnson – the company’s current senior vice president and chief information officer (CIO) – to Executive Vice President. Johnson first joined Freeman in 2009 as the vice president of application development, and she was promoted to senior vice president and CIO in 2012. Since then, she has been focused on driving Freeman’s IT strategy, a major undertaking considering how critical IT is both within Freeman and in its production of some of the world’s largest and most engaging live events.
