The third edition of Get Global, a show that targets Australian and New Zealand meeting and event buyers, is set to open in Sydney 26 July. The venue for the event, which targets the outbound market, will be The Gallery, ICC Sydney, and organisers Gary Bender and Donna Kessler say 40% of exhibitors will be new to the show. This format for doing business is an intensive one-day exhibition with 100% international product. Among the exhibitors are Senses of Cuba, Europe Incoming, Angkor Destination Travel, Latin American Alliance and Experience Morocco. Speakers for Get Global include Michelle Bridges, Matt Jones, Curtis McGrath, Felicity Furey and Janine Garner. Andrew Klein returns for 2019 as Get Global’s MC and will also present on ‘Pitching for Business’. Closing the day is the GET HAPPY Cocktail Function.
