Giant iTab partners with Mobile World Congress

GSMA, organiser of the Mobile World Congress, has appointed Giant iTab as its recommended event technology supplier for its 2019 event. Giant iTab will supply a large number of its giant smartphones across the event to drive mobile app engagement and help visitors to easily find the information they need to get the most from their day. Mobile World Congress is the largest mobile event in the world, bringing together the latest innovations and leading-edge technology from more than 2,400 leading companies at the Fira Gran Via in Barcelona. The event attracts over 100,000 visitors and will this year take place 25-28 February. Historically, app adoption at events like this is significantly less than 50%. Using Giant iTabs to showcase the event app on a giant scale around the whole event shows what information is easily to hand and encourage more visitors to download and use the event app. Visitors will be able to download and view the app instantly on their own devices by touching their IOS or Android mobile to the NFC ‘Tap for the App’ point on the Giant iTab.
