Event services global group GL events has brought in two new project managers to its UK team ahead of what the company believes will be a busy summer.
Nic Hardy joins the business having worked alongside GL events Middle East in Dubai as a temporary event branding specialist. She has already demonstrated the benefits of her 10 years’ experience in the industry on GL events’ projects including the Paul Lawrie Match Play tournament, Imperial College London’s graduation event, as well as on the fresh Group’s delivery of Dixons Carphone’s Power of One convention.
Emily Carter is new to GL events’ project management team, having previously worked as a project coordinator within its seating and stadia team. She has first-hand experience of the company’s activation at Jockey Club Racecourses’ Cheltenham Festival, as well as having supported GL events’ operations at Twickenham, Royal Ascot, The Open Championship and Aegon Championships.
“Every year we look to grow and improve our team and we’re delighted to welcome Nic and Emily to the business,” said MD Scott Jameson. “These roles are crucial in developing and growing our relationships with our clients and in continuing our outstanding reputation for delivery.”
