GL events has completed the acquisition of MCO Congrès, a Professional Congress Organiser (PCO) specialising in the organisation of scientific and medical conferences and congresses. The move is a strong addition to the Healthcare vertical within the GL events Exhibitions division.
Founded in 1990, MCO Congrès is a Marseille-based PCO employing 33 people and generating annual revenue of €14m.
MCO Congrès has over 35 years of experience and over 1,500 congresses organised.
A landmark venue dedicated to science and medicine, Villa Gaby will remain MCO Congrès’ headquarters and will continue to host symposiums, congresses, executive seminars, strategic meetings, committee meetings and masterclasses for learned societies, professional associations and corporate clients. This Italian-style villa, built on Marseille’s Kennedy Corniche at the end of the 19th century, is a major asset in promoting medical excellence and the international profile of the Marseille region.
