The growth marks an important milestone for ECOsmart, which has evolved from a UK-focused certification framework into an increasingly global standard for sustainable hotels, venues and event suppliers.
Alongside ECOsmart certified hotels now operating in destinations including Rome, Lisbon, Zurich, Berlin, Amsterdam, Helsinki, Washington DC, additional properties currently progressing through the certification process are in locations including Ras Al Khaimah in the United Arab Emirates, Denver, Boston, Oslo, Madrid, Singapore, Vancouver, Stockholm, Sydney, Nashville, and New Delhi.
Designed specifically for the hotel, meetings, events and business travel sectors, ECOsmart provides independent sustainability certification aligned to the UN Sustainable Development Goals, helping organisations measure and improve performance through a structured and transparent framework.
