Reed Exhibitions Mexico, organiser of IBTM Americas, has announced the postponement of IBTM Americas 2021 from 19-20 May to 18-19 August.
The event will take place at Centro Citibanamex in Mexico City.
This decision was made based on the country’s predictions about health conditions, indicating that the second half of the year will be more conducive for holding events.
Commenting on the announcement, Show Director, David Hidalgo, stated: “Due to the current scenario and the changes in the events global calendar for the Meetings and Events Industry; we have made the decision to move IBTM Americas to August 2021. We are hopeful that this decision will offer a more productive business atmosphere to achieve high quality results, and in a more secure environment.”
Hidalgo highlighted that the health and safety of all those who participate at the event is the number one priority.
“We are working on providing enhanced and robust safety and hygiene measures and protocols, hand in hand with international experts. We are confident that we will be able to have our face-to-face meetings in a framework of security and tranquility for all.
