ICC Sydney boosts in-house production with $2m upgrade

ICC Sydney has invested A$2.09m into new production tech – including LED screens, lighting, cameras and audio equipment. This recent investment more than doubles the venue’s LED screen inventory, adding 154sqm of Vuepix Infiled AR Series LED with high brightness and a fine 2.9mm pixel pitch.

From June, Pyrmont Theatre will feature a new 12×4 metre LED screen, offered at no extra cost compared to the previous projection setup. Additional LED wings can extend this to 14 metres across the stage.

CEO Adam Mather-Brown said the upgrade is designed to help clients create more dynamic, engaging events: “Our latest investment in LED technology allows us to shape environments that attract, entertain and engage attendees,” he said.

Director of audio visual services Brian Nash added: “Innovation is central to our approach to event delivery at ICC Sydney. We have more than doubled our LED screen inventory with an additional 154sqm of Vuepix Infiled AR Series LED – a world class system.”

Audio improvements include new d&b audiotechnik subwoofers and amplifiers, plus expanded vision equipment – including a 32m-wide screen and 4K Panasonic camera system.

This investment fits under ICC Sydney’s sustainability goals of reducing overall power usage and extending the lifespan of electronic equipment. For more information, visit ICC Sydney website.
