The Interntional Congress and Convention Association (ICCA), is to take its annual global Congress to Rwanda in 2027 and to Oman in 2028. The association has announced the 66th Congress will take place 24–27 October 2027 in Kigali, and the 67th Congress, will be held, 12–15 November 2028, in Muscat.
ICCA is committed to collaborating with different regions for this flagship event and, by selecting Kigali and Oman as the next host destinations, it honours this mandate.

Kigali has rapidly established itself as a hub for international conferences and association events. Rwanda now offers the relevant infrastructure and a clear commitment to sustainability.

The Kigali Congress, ICCA said, would serve as a catalyst for pan-African collaboration, providing a space for destinations, associations, and industry stakeholders to align on strategies that strengthen Africa’s global competitiveness and unlock new opportunities for international business events.
The 67th ICCA Congress in Muscat, meanwhile, is set to focus on community development, positioning Oman as a central meeting point connecting Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and Europe.
