The International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA)’s board has reaffirmed it is moving ahead with the 61st annual ICCA Congress in Kraków, Poland, 6-9 November 2022, as planned. Poland continues its commitment, and ICCA says, “it is vital that we, as ICCA community and the global meetings industry, honour the strength and resilience of Poland by holding the Congress in Kraków. As we move forward from a time when we have been forced apart, we must stay united as an industry to support the region. Let’s showcase our unity to the region and to the world.” “The ICCA family stands for connectedness, community, and harmony, and we stand by those who are giving help to others, and those who need help,” the ICCA statement ran. “In coming to this decision, ICCA’s board has considered all available guidance and worked extensively with the local host committee in Poland, as well as the Mayor of Kraków. “We urge all members and delegates to stay true to our collective values and support the 61st ICCA Congress by visiting and experiencing the vibrant and beautiful city of Kraków and Poland.” More Congress information here
