ICCA sets up liveblog to share information on coronavirus

The International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA) has announced a liveblog on its website, www.iccaworld.org, which it says is designed to help members find reliable information about the novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) outbreak.

It also allows the sharing meetings industry-related resources with the global ICCA community of meeting suppliers and associations.

ICCA is also encouraging meetings professionals to email any additional useful information and quotes Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director-General of the World Health Organisation, who said: “This is the time for facts, not fear. This is the time for science, not rumours. This is the time for solidarity, not stigma. We are all in this together.”

The liveblog includes the latest news from Wuhan – epicentre of the virus outbreak – a city where ICCA has six members.
