ICMSA, which claims to be Australasia’s oldest Professional Conference Organiser, brought its team together for the company’s annual staff conference at the country’s newest convention centre – Nyaal Bunyal Geelong Convention and Event Centre.
ICMSA is celebrating its 60th anniversary in 2026.
In-between conference sessions delegates were out and about enjoying uniquely Geelong and Bellarine Peninsula experiences including sustainability activity at The Farm Shop and Jack Rabbit Winery. A 60th Anniversary Themed Dinner brought out plenty of creativity at the Higher Mark venue at Geelong Stadium.
ICMSA owner and CEO, Emma Bowyer, noted the team had come off the back of eight events during the month of June, taking the total number of conferences for the first half of the year to 17.
“The [annual staff] conference is a great way for the entire team to come together as one. We continue to grow, adding four more staff this year who are headlong into managing events that will deliver another record year for us as a company,” she said.
“The venue is first-rate and co-located to wonderful hotel infrastructure. I commend GM Rick Aylett on the success of the launch of Nyaal Bunyal, and I also commend Business Events Geelong on showcasing a product that I know many of our clients are going to want to utilise in the future. They both played an instrumental part in the success of the ICMSA 2026 Company Conference,” she added.
