The Meetings and Events Australia (MEA) annual conference, Evolve 2019, is to feature the newly-launched Associated Celebrity Booking Platform, (ACTA). Organisers claim it is new technology that can be a game-changer for the events and entertainment industry with its ability to simplify the process of searching for and booking celebrities and entertainers for events. Robyn Johnson, CEO of MEA, commented: “This new technology is not the only innovation that will be profiled at Evolve 2019. Evolve is about showcasing what is new in the events industry and providing an opportunity for attendees to explore how this new technology could work for them, their clients and their events.” Evolve 2019 has a two-day track dedicated to technology that will cover a range of new devices such as augmented reality, robots, apps and advances in event software. Evolve 2019 will take place at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre, 31 March to 2 April.
