CMW visited the Convene 2016 in Vilnius, Lithuania this week, attending a busy show and gala dinner. The fourth edition of trade show Convene witnessed a record number of participants. More than 170 hosted buyers from 27 countries visited the exhibition, which hosts the MICE Market, and is organised by the Vilnius Convention Bureau. Exhibitors at the event included Holiday Inn Vilnius, Expoforum, Meet Riga and Wonderful Copenhagen. An education programme of 28 sessions at the event covered topics including women in leadership, organising incentive programmes. The networking programme at Convene 2016 included a reception in the Radisson Blu Sky Bar with views over the UNESCO World Heritage Old Town, a gala event in the Palace of the Grand Dukes and a farewell dinner in Grey’s, a restaurant in Vilnius.
