October 2019 is set to be a big month for cyber security in The Netherlands, with European Cyber Security Month being hosted in The Hague.
The capital will see conferences, competitions and training events for participants to exchange knowledge, ideas and innovations, all on the theme of a more secure future.
The three-day International One Conference kicks off the special month in The Hague on 1 October and is organised by the Dutch government.
Other events to follow include the Europol-INTERPOL cybercrime conference, the Unleashing Cyber Security Summit, a congress about the Future of Quantum Computing, Quantum Cryptography and Quantum Sensors and Hardwear.io Security Conference & Training.
An Innovation Floor feature at the One Conference will see 15 organisations demonstrate their cyber security innovations.
The Hague Municipality will challenge ethical hackers in co-operation with the Dutch cyber security company Cybersprint at a pre-event. A hacking competition, Hâck The Hague, will take place in the City Hall on 30 September, when the Atrium transforms into ‘The Hague Hackers Dome’. Ethical hackers are invited to detect vulnerabilities in the digital infrastructure of the municipality and its suppliers.
