The hotel cut its consumption from 19,710 kWh to 3,548 kWh after switching to LED lighting throughout the property. It is one of four hotels switching to the more energy efficient LED lighting including Continental Hotel Lausanne, The Starling Hotel and the Beau-Rivage Palace. Lausanne Tourisme’s marketing manager Aude Cometta said: “We’re really proud of our green credentials here in Lausanne. Our hotels and conference venues are constantly developing their sustainability initiatives in order to offer the best environment for congresses and business events here in Lausanne.”
