The QEII Centre in London has secured the World Adhesive and Sealant Conference (WAC), taking place from 16-18 September 2026.
The three-day event that takes place once every four years alternating between the United States, Europe and Asia, is considered the most important international conference for stakeholders working in the adhesive and sealant industry.
WAC 2026 will welcome over 1,250 international delegates, who will experience education sessions and keynote addresses from global speakers. Delegates will also attend an EXPO tradeshow, networking events and emerging leaders’ workshops.
The three-day event will be hosted by FEICA, the Association of the European Adhesive and Sealant industry, and co-organised by the USA’s ASC (Adhesive and Sealant Council) and the ARAC (Asia Regional Adhesive Council).
Kristel Ons, secretary-general, FEICA, said: “The QEII Centre is easily accessible, and has all the space we require with, as a bonus, views of some of London’s most famous landmarks.”
Mark Taylor, chief executive, QEII Centre, added: “WAC2026’s commitment to contracting four years ahead demonstrates the growing confidence in the sector.”
Other major future events secured by the QEII include the British Thoracic Society, which also plans to return to the venue for its Winter Meeting in 2023 and 2024, as well as the International Marine Purchasing Association (IMPA), which will host its annual conference in September 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026.
