Tourism Malaysia has launched a suite of promotional videos for its Visit Malaysia 2026 (VM2026) campaign. The initiative aims to promote Malaysia for its cultural diversity, heritage and qualities as an eco-destination.
The campaign targets tourism partners, airlines and travel agents across key global markets – including the Middle East, China and Europe. It features immersive storytelling designed to convince international travellers to explore Malaysia’s landscape and culture.
VM2026 focuses on five strategic pillars: Sustainable tourism Cultural and heritage experiences Adventure and nature-based travel Digital innovation Enhanced global connectivity
These, reportedly, align with traveller preferences for authentic and environmentally responsible experiences.
The flagship “Echoes of Harmony” video uses traditional drumbeats, with a narrative that showcases dramatic landscapes, cultural performances and authentic moments. It features multilingual narration in Arabic, Mandarin and English.
The video library includes 204 units available in three languages. Content ranges from 15-second clips to 35-minute documentaries. Eight thematic segments cover gastronomy, islands and beaches, marine experiences, events and festivals, landmarks, nature and heritage.
Mr Sulaiman Suip, director of Tourism Malaysia London, said: “These new videos offer a vibrant and immersive introduction to the many experiences that make Malaysia truly special. They allow us to showcase Malaysia’s warmth, diversity, and rich cultural heritage to the world in a way that is both modern and authentic.”
