International events management agency Maritz Global Events has signed a two-year agreement with Vienna Convention Bureau.
Taking effect 1 January 2017, the new partnership will enable the Vienna Convention Bureau to participate in special events from Maritz Global Events and promote the destination. The co-operation will be supported by web-based, educational sessions for the whole Maritz Global Events staff and internal sales platforms.
“We are thrilled to be partnering with Vienna – a truly world-class destination – that will enable us to continue designing and delivering exceptional experiences to our clients throughout the world,” said president of Maritz Global Events, David Peckinpaugh.
“We are taking the existing relationship with Maritz Global Events to a new level,” VCB chief Christian Mutschlechner added.
Under the umbrella of the VCB, Vienna’s three top conference centres, the Austria Center Vienna, the Hofburg Vienna and the Messe Wien Exhibition and Congress Center, joined in the Vienna proposal.
Through its divisions – Maritz Travel and Experient – Maritz Global Events, which has over 1,500 staff, handles corporate events and incentives, as well as association, government, trade show, and sports events.
