The first Russian edition of Maarten Vanneste’s industry tome, Meeting Architecture, will be launched on 14 October, 2016 during EubEA 2016, the international festival of events and live communication which takes place in St Petersburg 13-15 October.
Vanneste, president of the Meeting Design Institute (MDI), will be on hand to sign the new book. The book describes the innovative framework of organising a meeting, its basic principles and methodology and is intended for MICE professionals. ‘Meeting Architecture’ principles were described by Vanneste almost 10 years ago, and have helped shape ideas around the new profession of Meeting Architect.
The creation of the Meeting Architect role in the structure of a large PCO this year was one of the examples of acknowledgment the framework’s significance.
In Russia and the CIS, Vanneste has teamed up with Matey Events not just to publish the translated book but to offer MDI’s training.
