Global meetings industry association, Meeting Professionals International (MPI), has published a new Strategic Meetings Management (SMM) guidebook containing tools designed to help meeting professionals measure the value of meetings.
The ‘Measuring Meeting Value Guidebook’ is designed to help gauge measurements that can then be translated into return on investment (ROI) for the following three components of meetings: learning, networking and loyalty.
MPI has published a supporting infographic (part pictured), as well as a checklist outlining how to measure value while planning meetings, during meetings and after meetings.
All of the new SMM materials were developed in partnership with events and travel software specialists Lanyon.
