Ashfield Event Experiences has announced the promotion of Katie Coleman (pictured) to head Ashfield Event Experiences US. The appointment is with immediate effect and she will work alongside the AEE global leadership team of Dan Walker, director of AEE UK, and Lee-Anne Penn, director of AEE UK and Global Growth. As head of the US business, Coleman will lead the team of healthcare event experts. Ashfield Event Experiences provides end-to-end event solutions for healthcare companies, including logistics, attendee management, congress and conventions, event production, venue sourcing, engagement solutions, design and communications. The company says Coleman’s promotion reflects the continued growth of AEE. She will be charged with continuing to grow the business in the US. Coleman joined AEE in 2004 and has been a central player in both the delivery of healthcare events for many international pharma clients as well as more recently a key role as client engagement director, supporting clients to meet their strategic objectives. As part of her role Coleman will support the continued integration of AEE within the Experience Design (XD) specialist area of Inizio Engage and draw on the increased breadth of services available to clients including film, behavioural science and employee engagement. Russ Lidstone, president of Inizio Engage XD said: “I’m delighted that Katie is taking this leadership role for AEE in North America. Nobody understands the events landscape better than Katie and her experience of working with blue chip clients both in North America and globally is invaluable. Her integrated thinking and approach embodies our approach at Inizio Engage XD and in addition, she’s a great team player.” Coleman added: “I’m so proud of the work we do here at Ashfield Event Experiences and I’m thrilled to be given the opportunity to lead our US team. We offer a unique solution for our healthcare clients, with a long-established legacy in the industry. I’m excited for the next chapter.”
