New launch from European Convention Bureaux Alliance

The Strategic Alliance of the National Convention Bureaux of Europe (the Alliance) has announced the launch of a new website. It is designed as an improved resource for customers, suppliers and partners, as well as a communication channel for its 28 members. The Alliance is a network of national destination marketing organisations and aims to smooth working relationships among the European national CVBs. Launched at IMEX 2014 in Las Vegas with nine founding countries, the Alliance is now a 28-member strong network that meets twice a year in rotating host destinations. Recent meetings have been taking place online to maintain the dialogue hampered by the corona pandemic. The new website (www.convention-europe.com) offers an overview map and contact details for each national bureau. It also has a resources section and a link to download a study commissioned by the Alliance on the impact of Covid-19 on the European convention sector.
