Mr Dong Won Lee (pictured) has been appointed to lead Seoul’s Coex convention and exhibition centre. After an extensive search, Mr Lee’s appointment as president was approved by Coex’s general stockholders as the convention centre’s 17th president and CEO. Mr Lee comes from a long established career at the global advertisement company HS Ad, formerly LG Ad, including overseeing its New York division. His experience and knowledge in global business is expected to serve him well during his tenure overseeing Seoul’s largest convention centre. Mr Lee replaces Mr Bo Kyung Byun who was president and CEO of Coex for the previous three-year term.
