The European Association of Nuclear Medicine (EANM) will host its annual congress at the Congress Center Hamburg (CCH) in Germany. Over 7,500 participants will attend from around the world between 19-23 October.
The event serves as a forum for medical professionals and industry leaders to display and discuss new advancements in the nuclear medicine field. Attendees will engage in the latest clinical evidence, radiopharmaceuticals, imaging technologies and theranostics (the diagnosis and treatment of cancer using radioactive drugs).
Theranostics, in particular, is an important area of concern. As such, the EANM’24 will devote a session to the topic, entitled ‘The Age of Theranostics’. The association also offers classes on the fundamentals of research in imaging and theranostics.
The upcoming EANM Focus Meeting 6, to be held in Malta from 30 January to 1 February 2025, will address the impact of imaging on breast cancer care.
