OnAIR by Australia-based event management platform specialists EventsAIR has won the Asia Pacific Gold Stevie® Award for the Innovation in Technology Development in Computer Industries. The Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards recognise innovation in the workplace in all 29 nations of the Asia-Pacific region. Nicknamed the Stevies after the Greek word for ‘crowned’, the winners will be celebrated during an online awards ceremony on 22 September. The Stevies in-person awards banquet, which had been planned for Hanoi, Vietnam this year, had to be cancelled due to the coronavirus epidemic. More than 1,000 nominations from organisations across the Asia-Pacific region were considered this year in categories such as Award for Excellence in Innovation in Products & Services, Award for Innovative Management, and Award for Innovation in Corporate Websites, among others. The OnAIR by EventsAIR is an event management platform that manages attendee, exhibitor, sponsor, and speaker data. This data and content are surfaced in an online timeline, presenting a virtual attendee user interface that can be utilised for virtual or hybrid events. “I would like to dedicate this award to our dedicated and hardworking team who worked around the clock to deliver an amazing virtual/hybrid event management solution that will assist event organisers get back to the road of recovery,” said CEO and chief software architect at EventsAIR, Trevor Gardiner. Gold, Silver and Bronze Stevie Award winners were determined by the average scores of more than 100 executives around the world acting as judges in May and June.
