Global DMC and Event Management Company Pacific World has announced it will be expanding its operations to offer incentive experiences for its clients in Mauritius and Dominican Republic for 2017. The expansion plans follow latest SITE Index research revealing that almost half of incentive travel buyers expect to see their budgets increase over the next 12 months. Pacific World global MD Selina Chavry commented: “The decision to open these new destinations has been a direct response to the growing demand that we have witnessed from our clients, who are increasingly searching for meaningful experiences that move their customers.” Chavry said it was clear that incentives were on the rise again, with 60% of incentive travel buyers saying they planned to increase incentive eligibility for their programmes next year. “The opening of these two new destinations give even more choice to our customers,” she added. Chavry added that research with the Pacific World client database had revealed that exclusive high-end adventures, inspirational special events, authentic local experiences, and innovative technology concepts that challenge creativity and CSR activities that inspire were among the most highly sought after experiences among customers. “There is no doubt that Mauritius, Dominican Republic and Turkey offer all of these opportunities and more and so we are very much looking forward to working with our local teams in each of these destinations and delivering unforgettable experiences.”
