PCMA confirms Vienna for Convening EMEA 2022

The Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA), fresh from holding its annual Convening Leaders 2022 event in Las Vegas, has announced that ‘Convening EMEA’ is set to return in Vienna, Austria, 28-30 September 2022. The event is an omnichannel platform for EMEA business event leaders and creatives. Initially launched as the ‘European Influencer Summit’ in 2017, PCMA has since rebranded the event to ‘Convening EMEA’. Launched last year in Lausanne, Switzerland, PCMA watched over 350 business event professionals from 29 countries reunite the industry. Jaimé Bennett, regional director of PCMA EMEA, said: “2022 is set to build upon the success of 2021 and the ‘connections’ facilitated at a time that was critical for the industry and our community as we continue our journey in making Convening EMEA the nexus of business events.” Norbert Kettner, managing director of Vienna Tourist Board, commented: “Vienna has always been a meeting point for people from all over the world, meaning that diversity and an international outlook are part of its DNA.”
