Penang Convention & Exhibition Bureau (PCEB) in Malaysia is hosting the 8th edition of BE@ Penang, Malaysia’s foremost business events conference. The annual event, this year running 7-8 December, 2023, is taking place at the Setia Spice Convention Centre. The theme for BE@Penang 2023 is ‘BE Reinvents’, embodying a powerful call to action for participants to embark on a transformative journey. In a rapidly evolving business landscape, organisers say they are aiming for the theme to resonate with the need for innovation, adaptation, and a fresh perspective. Keynote speaker on Day 1 was Julius Solaris, a luminary in the events industry. He shared some valuable insights to inspire and guide attendees on their journey into the future of business events. Mr. Azman Haji Tambi Chik, the newly appointed CEO of Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB) is also attending at the event and said the national bureau applauded the PCEB for leading this transformative initiative. BE@Penang 2023 is also a platform for connection, learning, and transformation. As the largest business events conference in Malaysia, this annual gathering, owned by PCEB and supported by the Penang State Government, aims again to set the standard for excellence in the industry. Beyond the conference walls, the vibrant city of Penang is offering delegates a rich tapestry of culture, cuisine, and experiences.
