The Philadelphia Convention and Visitors Bureau (PHLCVB) invited the great and the good from Philadelphia’s tourism and hospitality industry to its 2022 Annual Luncheon, the region’s largest hospitality industry networking event. The venue was the Philadelphia Museum of Art and this year’s theme, ‘Celebrating the Fine Art of Hospitality’, was designed to coincide with the Museum’s current major exhibition, Matisse in the 1930s. The Annual Luncheon was an opportunity for the industry to look ahead to the upcoming year and Gregg Caren, PHLCVB president and CEO said he was “thrilled to celebrate the successes of this year in tourism and hospitality” with its community of partners, colleagues and friends. “The Annual Luncheon is such a wonderful tradition in our industry, and we have so much to be thankful for this year, from the steady return of meetings and conventions to securing 2026 FIFA World Cup matches and other major events that will support the local economy.” The annual November event also benefits the PHLCVB Foundation, which gives back to the Philadelphia tourism community through education, economic development, community improvement and outreach efforts and by providing hospitality sector support. At the Annual Luncheon, the Foundation recognise a local college student studying hospitality with the Marie Baker Brown Scholarship, awarded annually. Learn more about the PHLCVB Foundation here.
