Portugal to host Resort and Residential Hospitality Forum

The Resort and Residential Hospitality (R&R) Forum, a resort-focused investment conference, has announced that it will return in October 2022, taking place at Tivoli Marina Vilamoura Resort, Algarve. R&R’s 2021 event was attended by over 40 exhibitors and 70 investors, with overall attendees representing 20 countries over the course of the forum. The theme for the 2022 R&R Forum’s programme has also been announced and will be themed around ‘sustainable returns in leisure’. The programme is set to address topics that impact both real estate and commercial leisure hospitability, such as wellness, experiential travel, intergenerational living, sustainability, and locality. At the event, networking sessions with independent operators and investors have been planned for delegates, according to R&R. Additionally, a wellness programme has been planned for delegates, which will include beach runs, yoga and ‘walk and talk’ networking sessions. Hoteliers and investors are amongst R&R’s booked exhibitors, described as representing the spectrum of resort and leisure across the beach, alpine, lakes, spa and wellness. Also present at the forum will be branded residential and recreational resort activities such as golf resorts, marinas and theme parks. The R&R Forum’s programme includes sessions for delegates covering topics such as data and KPIs, the expanding branded residential space, requirements for sustainable development, and ‘bleisure’. Reported speakers at R&R 2022 currently include representatives from sectors such as luxury hotels, real estate, data, and sustainable hospitality companies.
