EUROPALCO, the largest provider of solutions for events and shows in Southern Europe, has announced major investments in three Portuguese companies: Rise, NEW Audiovisuais, and AV Tec. The moves are part of the company’s geographic expansion and technological advancement in the events industry. The acquisitions mean Europalco can also offer broader and stronger services to its clientele, expanding both its size and geographic coverage, the company says. Founded in 2012 by professionals in the audiovisual sector, Rise quickly became a reference option for companies looking for innovation in their events. With offices in the Algarve and Lisbon, Rise offers solutions in projection, sound, lighting, video, IT and networks, stages and scenography. Its creative approach includes 3D venue mapping, with operations expanding across Europe, including Spain and Italy. Europalco says it sees plenty of synergies with Rise which promise opportunities for growth and innovation. NEW Audiovisuals, established in 2017, specialises in the rental of AV systems and technical support for events. While AVTECH, founded in 2016, is an audiovisual engineering company that designs and implements integrated solutions for venues. Filinto Francisco, CEO of Rise, said of the agreement: “We are delighted to embark on this transformative journey with EUROPALCO. Together, we anticipate unprecedented growth and value creation in the events industry.” João Cardoso, CEO of NEW Audiovisuals and AV Tech, added: “We are very happy to partner with EUROPALCO on this transformational journey. Together, we share a commitment to innovation and excellence, and we are confident that our collaboration will redefine the standards of our industry.”
