Queen Sirikit National Convention Center set to reopen for APEC in September

N.C.C. Management and Development (NCC) has announced its Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC), Thailand, has been selected to host the Asia-Pacific Economic Co-operation (APEC) Summit 2022. This will include all meetings related to APEC Framework to be held throughout 2022.

QSNCC is set to welcome delegates from all the 21 economies to Thailand, and will aim to support APEC in hosting the meetings in the theme of ‘Open, Connect, Balance.’

The QSNCC is currently undergoing a redevelopment phase to offer five times larger space with a variety of retail spaces.

Sakchai Pattarapreechakul, president of NCC, said: “The new QSNCC will be able to accommodate all types of events, featuring cutting-edge technology and complete facilities guaranteed with standards compatible with global top event venues in other countries. QSNCC also has a unique identity, along with the architecture and landscape architecture that is beautiful, outstanding and harmonised with the surrounding areas, exhibiting a perfect combination of Thai and international characteristics.”

The QSNCC redevelopment aims to maximise the capacity of the space, comprising two main exhibition halls with a total area of more than 45,000sqm, making it possible to hold several meetings or events at the same time.
