The Board of Directors of RIMINI FIERA S.p.A. has approved the half-year financial report as at 30 June 2016. Production Value for the first half was €40.7m, an increase of 9.2% on the first half of 2015, in spite of the fact that the ABTech expo (held on “odd” years) was not held. Operating profitability also rose, with EBITDA1 of €8.6m. The net consolidated result of the first half of 2016 was €3.6m, an increase of approximately €2.2m on 2015 (a 67.6% rise). In spite of the important distribution of dividends (€4m), the net financial position as at 30 June 2016, the period that normally represents the seasonal peak for debt burden, is substantially balanced, with debts of €253,000 compared to €4.8m in 2015. Rimini Fiera SpA chairman Lorenzo Cagnoni said: “These are really important figures, which confirm the solidity of the 2016-2018 business plan and further strengthen our on-going domestic and international strategies, and the appreciation shown by the market.”
