RoomIt by CWTÒ, the hotel distribution division of Carlson Wagonlit Travel (CWT), has appointed Brian Zacker as Vice-President of Global Sales. Based in Chicago, Zacker joined RoomIt and the CWT business finance organisation last June, as Vice-President of finance for RoomIt. He will remain a member of the RoomIt leadership team. “I am thrilled that Brian will now be taking on this new leadership sales position at RoomIt – Brian has already proven to be a crucial asset to the team,” said David Falter, President of RoomIt by CWT. “I am confident Brian will help RoomIt and CWT accelerate our growth in corporate hotel distribution and merchandising.” Prior to joining CWT, Zacker spent 18 years with travel commerce platform Travelport in various roles, including Vice-President of Global Sales. CWT operates in 150 countries, and in 2017 posted a total transaction volume of more than US$23bn.
