Originally from Australia, Curtis has 15 years’ experience within the events industry including working within the IBTM portfolio. She was previously contract exhibition manager for Arabian Travel Market, part of Reed Travel Exhibitions, with responsibility for the event strategy of this international travel and tourism exhibition. Prior to this, she was event manager for The Hotel Show Dubai and global head of sales for the IBTM portfolio.

Shane Hannam, portfolio director, IBTM, who is new to his role having replaced Kerry Prince on 1 June following the departure of senior exhibitions director Graeme Barnett, said: “We’re delighted to have Danielle at the helm of IBTM Arabia.”
