Engagement strategy and platform research are two areas of focus in the next edition of the UK-run International Confex webinar series. The latest discussion will take place at 4pm, London Time, 22 October, and will be led by founder of Event Tech Labs and Tourism and Events Management course leader at the University of Westminster, Dr James Morgan. He will explore the challenges involved in running online events, and how organisers can improve their own virtual offerings. The panel, which features Laura Shapiro, group event director at CloserStill Media and Kim Barnes, event director, Phacilitate, Clarion, will cover strategic insights in the world of online events and how organisers can deliver valuable experiences for attendees and add value to sponsors. Panellists will discuss their personal experiences and the way their organisations have adapted to the online medium since live events have been shut down by government.
