Global incentive travel professionals set sail aboard Royal Caribbean’s Wonder of the Seas for connection, education and destination discovery, as global Society for Incentive Travel Excellence (SITE) delivered the first cruise-based event, 13-16 March.
SITE’s 2026 Incentive Summit Americas headed from Miami to The Bahamas, combining business connection, education and destination experience, while showcasing the growing potential of cruise within the incentive travel sector.
“At SITE, we are always looking for ways to bring our community together in settings that spark new thinking and open up new possibilities,” said Annette Gregg, CEO of SITE. “Taking Incentive Summit Americas to sea for the first time was a bold step for us. It reflected the creativity and evolution of our industry, while giving attendees the chance to experience, in a direct and memorable way, how a cruise product can support meaningful connection, strong business outcomes and exceptional incentive travel design.”
The programme balanced structured business exchange with time for organic relationship building and destination immersion. A new Partner Marketplace debuted, creating a dedicated setting for buyers to meet participating partners before moving into a curated gifting experience. Education sessions across the sailing complemented this with practical insight and sector discussion, including content focused on cruise products and its role in incentive travel.
Saturday’s (14 March) programme combined morning education with time at Perfect Day at CocoCay.
On Sunday, the summit continued with further education, followed by the reveal of Snowmass, Colorado as the next destination in the ISA journey. Delegates also took part in CSR activities in Nassau, giving the programme a community-focused dimension and reinforcing SITE’s ongoing commitment to purpose alongside business value.
“Holding this event aboard Wonder of the Seas was a powerful reminder of why cruise lines have become an increasingly compelling choice for incentive programmes. For destinations with access to the sea, a cruise offers something no single land-based venue can match: a floating environment that moves through multiple destinations, while keeping your group together and your programme cohesive.,” said Hasan Dinc, president, SITE.
