Audience interaction specialist Slido has appointed Kursha Woodgate to the newly created role of Brand and Communications Director. The new role will focus on brand development, positioning and communications strategy and will have a global remit. Woodgate was formerly Managing Director of PR agency Mexia Communications, a specialist in the international meetings and events sector. Based in the UK, Woodgate now joins Slido’s team of over 120 people worldwide. Slido CEO Peter Komornik commented: “Kursha is a great addition to the Slido team and we are truly excited to have her on board. She worked with Slido for a number of years since our very early days and had a significant impact on our brand and positioning as an external consultant. Kursha’s knowledge of the Slido proposition, combined with her wealth of experience not only in meetings and events, but in strategy, international communications and business growth, will no doubt be a great asset.” Woodgate added: “The Slido team have always been fantastic to work with.
