The European Society of Radiotherapy and Oncology (ESTRO) will bring back face-to-face event business to the halls of IFEMA in Madrid this August. The venue will host the society’s annual congress, 27-31 August 2021, in its North Convention Centre and Hall 10. Organisers expect 6,000 radiation oncology professionals to attend the congress, which will have a hybrid format offering online content and streaming broadcasts of the scientific programme. It will be the first time that Madrid will have hosted an ESTRO congress. ESTRO is working closely with the Spanish Society of Radiation Oncology (SEOR) on the congress, which aims at giving relevance to radiation oncology both in the scientific field and in terms of helping patients benefit from technological and scientific advances.
